The Anemic Boyfriends were from Alaska. Cut them some slack. They can see Russia from their front porch. The other notable thing about this single is that it is one of the 130 singles that the late great John Peel kept in a special box for his favorite singles (though seeing that he was apparently such a big White Stripes fan kind of kills some of the magic for me.) As it is, I'm not sure about this one. It can go either way for me on most days and certainly wouldn't make it into my special magic singles box were I to have one or admit that I had one.
