Getting behind in the queue.

I'm easily distracted by shiny objects. It's very very hot and humid and I let a month go by before adding to this. I'd better get on it so there's stuff to magically appear on Tuesday's in the future

1. Strawberry Cheesecake
2. Modern Noise

About the only concrete thing I've found about this Detroit band in my two or three minutes of googling is this sentence "This Detroit punk band was led by the African American guitarist Gerald Collins. They released the single "Strawberry Cheesecake" b/w "Modern Noise" on Aftertaste in 1979. " Given how much I really love this odd little kbd single. It's catchy. I got it for not too much on eBay and it seemed to be a NOS copy. Such a shame. It's a favorite amongst the other thousands of favorites I've got.

1. When I'm Home
2. Remains of the Beat

Babylon Dance Band were from Louisville. Some folks in the band went on to other bands that you may or may not have heard of. They briefly reformed to put out a disc in the mid-90's. This is their second single. If you didn't stop reading at Louisville and start downloading, I don't know what's wrong with you. It's cool.

1 What the cool kids are saying:
