Pink Section

And here we go again. A single and a 12". Just like nature intended. There's nothing wrong with it and I may do more of them before my time is through. I'm going to brush my teeth while you ponder the beautiful asymmetry of these releases.

1. Tour of China
2. Shopping

1. Wine World
2. Midsummer New York
3. Flat Dog
4. Part Time
5. Francine's List

About the only things I've been able to come up with about Pink Section is that they were from San Francisco and that the two lovely ladies went on to become a half of the much beloved Inflatable Boy Clams (Posted previously. Seek and ye shall find).
The only recorded evidence of their brief two year existence is these two vinyl artifacts & an appearance on the "Can You Hear Me?" compilation of various bands live at the Deaf Club in SF. (which I may get around to one of these days when I start broaching the many compilations that I've got.) There doesn't even seem to be a half assed fan made Myspace or anything. It's too bad. Their particular brand of art damaged new wave makes me giggle. Join the fun. Spread the love. Everybody put on your skinny ties & sneakers and dance.

2 What the cool kids are saying:

  1. Love it! Them! You!

    Ok, hyperbolic, but thanks.

  2. Matty went on to Survival Research Laboratories. Prior to Pink Section Judy was with TuTu Band, arguably the greatest band ever and after PS had a clothing/design company called Japanese Weekend.
